As we move into the future together, we will see First Christian Church flourishing like a tree planted by streams of water and yielding ripe, mature fruit that does not wither (Psalm 1:3). To ensure this prosperity, we will achieve financial stability, develop a strategic discipleship process, lengthen our outreach and mission branches, and welcome all into the shade of God’s love.
By strengthening our stewardship, we will choke out the weeds of scarcity and debt and live into a financial stability, allowing us the freedom to welcome new opportunities of growth and vitality.
As we seek to deepen our roots, we will strengthen the process by which we make disciples, seeking to consistently develop new leadership and encourage one another into spiritual maturity.
With our strengthened root system, our branches will grow and be better equipped to produce fruit through good works and acts of mercy.
As this vision advances into reality, God will provide the refreshing shade of the Spirit through us as we continue living out our mission of inviting all people to experience grace and love at Christ’s Table.
